July 4th ~ This year and years past

I could wax poetic about several members of our family who served in the military. I decided to save that for a later date, though, when I could gather pictures together. Instead, here is a collage of pictures from July 4th celebrations over the past 4 years. Basically, it shows good times spent with family.
2006 ~ This essentially was our last big meeting in Mt. Morris, Illinois. Soon after this, Grandma Doris was moved to a nursing home in Ohio near three of her kids. This was such a special get-together because almost every relative was able to be there. Ben was a newborn at the time. The parade was the big event with fireworks later in the evening.

2007 ~ Ahhh….Puerto Rico. I want to be there again! All my siblings and I were able to go have a no-kids short span of blissful freedom.

In addition to corn hole (which I failed to take pictures of this year) our family enjoys launching water balloons into the air with “fancy” contraptions.

What an awesome post!!!!!! I could sit and look at your pictures all day long!
Jordyn was such an adorable baby!!!!! Was that her tipped over from this year to? That's a cute pic!
I loved your walk down memory lane; what fun! (ahh, the "olives on the fingers" trick.. makes me want some right now!). But the biggest thing I noticed was YOUR personal photographic journey, and just how much you've improved from year to year! Scroll down, and just as you can see your kids growing through the years, you can also see your talent and abilities growing, as well. VERY cool...
Love how you captured all these moments over the years and I, too, enjoyed seeing the journey and progression of your photography.
those are wonderful pictures! Great 4th of July you had.
Ha! I think this just shows that I'm a slooooow learner! :)
Love your post. So many of the photos made me smile. I did a similar "walk down memory lane" for my entry this week.
Drew - thanks so much for sharing these precious family memories! I absolutely LOVED to see the evolution of your photography! YOU GO GIRL!!! Keep up the good work!!!
What a great review in photos. Love all the pictures. Love the look of your blog. It is so clean and fresh, makes the photos really stand out.
what a cool post! awesome photos! :0)
I loved this Drew! So fantastically fun to see how everyone has grown and changed! Can not believe the difference in baby J! Holy cow! And I can not stop laughing about your line "in all my Albino glory." You are so funny. I am going to go ask Gary if we can move to Ohio again. Oh, don't worry. I have only asked him 10 times and he doesn't think I am CRAZY at all : )
Oh, I loved the one of Jordyn in her blue dress on the red tricycle. Talk about picture-perfect!
That was fantastic and I feel like I could come and hang out! Thank you for sharing!
I love looking at photos of your family... especially when you sneak pics of Angie in them:-)
WOW! Look at how great your photos are now compared to years ago. You've come a long way baby!
P.S. Do you think your mom and dad would adopt me? One more sister... nobody will notice right?? ha!
Uh oh, looks like Jordyn is trying to cook something on the grill! Maybe it's a sign - she'll like cooking when she gets older?
