I ♥Faces ~ Beach Theme

ben2

This challenge has shown me that I need to get to a beach ASAP.  I do have a couple beach pictures from the lake we swim at, but I’d much prefer pictures from Hawaii.  :)  This is my middle child, calling it a day by lying under the picnic table.

Since I’m a contributor, I’m not eligible to win.  I  look forward to seeing tons of creative photos to use as inspiration for whenever I do get to a tropical island somewhere!

Love the clarity, and your 3 little ones pictured in your banner are just precious!

Chica, that is adorable! Let's face it; when they're little, they can only take so much beach, and then it's time to chill! Love it, AS USUAL... !

I say that we plan a girls-trip to Hawaii with no kids!! Do you think the guys will go for that?!

Ben's such a cutie...that little thumb in his mouth just slays me. :)

I love this. You said it was nothing special so I was surprised at the adorable ness : ) (yes, that is a word) of this! I showed Kaishon the kids pictures tonight. He is very excited. After I showed him your picture he asked me if you were black. I thought something might be wrong with him, so I made him look again : ) Then he saw, that no, you are not black. He would like for one of your kids to be black so I told him that I would pass that information along : ) As best I can see they are all white at present though....

That is so sweet!

This shot is fantastic, I love the contrast of this emotion to the other entries so far. Everyone seems happy and joyful and energetic, and this image is so often how I feel with the baby in my arms, too much sun and ready for a nap, but happy none the less. Nice image!

Okay, I just read Rebekah's (Life w/Kaishon) comment and I am totally cracking up. That is one of the funniest things I have read in a long time. That girl...she is crazy!! : )

Drew...Please explain to me how to post for the beach theme..I'm a bit confused! I am also wondering if you could tell me...I have Photoshop Elements...I desire to darken the edges of my photo...like with a circle vingette...can I do that w/ this program or do I need Photoshop something else? Thanks; Micah

Loving your photography! This picture is absolutely stunning. I have always been interested in photography, but recently got a Sony a200k and the Adobe Creative Suite3 so I'm ready to get out there and start taking photos! Hope to find tons of inspiration through the pages of your blog! :) Thanks so much!

Drew
I'm a Christian, wife, mom, teacher and computer addict. I started my family blog years ago in an attempt to document daily happenings. (I knew I'd forget everything before I ever had a chance to scrapbook so I'd better write it down!) After seeing the incredible improvement in photography my sister made after having a "Year in Photos" site, I was inspired to start my own. So now I have my "gross stories from a typical day with my kids" blog and my daily photo blog. Hope you enjoy!
