I ♥ Faces ~ Laughter

What I love about the laughter theme is that I suspect there will be very few posed pictures.  Laughter is one of those things that come out not only in a smile but also through the eyes.  It is a pure expression that is really hard to “fake” or draw from people.  It’s just being lucky enough to catch that candid shot.

My kids entry is of my two boys who you can probably guess had a silly daddy in the background getting them going.  Nathan, on the right, is deathly afraid of heights so being a couple feet above the ground had him combining laughter with a nagging feeling of terror.  Ben, on the other hand, is thoroughly entertained.

I’ve actually submitted a photo similar to this one before.  I just love the interaction between my aunt and her granddaughter.

Since I’m a contributor on I ♥ Faces, my entries are just for fun.  I’m looking forward to enjoying some great laughter pictures this week!

When I first saw the picture of your two boys, I immediately wondered what they were looking at that was making them laugh so hard. A silly Dad, now it makes sense.

I like how just the granddaughter is in focus and her grandmother is a bit blurry.

I'm a Christian, wife, mom, teacher and computer addict. I started my family blog years ago in an attempt to document daily happenings. (I knew I'd forget everything before I ever had a chance to scrapbook so I'd better write it down!) After seeing the incredible improvement in photography my sister made after having a "Year in Photos" site, I was inspired to start my own. So now I have my "gross stories from a typical day with my kids" blog and my daily photo blog. Hope you enjoy!
