I ♥ Faces ~ HATS ~ Kids

I tried to recreate a silly joke with all my kids that Nathan used to play .  Nathan used to think it was HILARIOUS to put his underwear on his head instead of his tuckus, then ask, “Is this where my underwear goes?”  He used to giggle and snort over his “incredibly funny joke”.

Turns out, Nathan is no longer cooperative, nor does he think that wearing underwear on his head is funny in any shape or form.  After all, he is a “mature” 5 year old now.

but…

Ben found it incredibly funny! That’s one of the many reasons I love 2 year olds!

The disadvantage of my 2 year old model is that he takes off within 2 minutes of a photo shoot.  (Thus the reason for the funky border.)  Everything surrounding Ben was a mess, so this is my attempt to hide it.

I have an idea for the adult picture, but haven’t had a chance to try it yet.  I’m thinking it’s something no one else will do, but you never know!

Head over to I ♥ Faces for some great hat pictures!  Since I’m a contributor, my photo is just for fun.  :)

great picture, I have some of my grandaughter with panties on her head and she made us put some on our heads to. She thought it was so funny....

You are TOO funny! I think you might win "Most Creative Hat" award! That is awesome, and the filter is perfect! You could have TOTALLY gotten away with a messy house with that. Hey, will it work in real life? Cause if so, I'm buyin' that program...
Here's to pictures that can be entered in contests now,and saved for blackmail later!

So the TODC uses underwear for hats? I can just imagine the clan at the Kentucky Derby mingling with everyone else with their hats, lol. ROFLAO.

Btw, that is a cute pic and my boys love wearing them on their heads too :).

I think bokeh was invented to keep my messy house from showing up in the backgrounds of my photos. :)

P.S. Entry #249 this week?? You're slacking girly! Hee!

Now that is a hat!!!! I love it!!! Ah, to be a kid again and just do what you feel like doing to be silly!

The little guy is my niece's son! It was his first birthday.

Your photo is adorable, Andrea!

Drew! I love your border! I LOVE your underwear hat idea! I love that you admitted to having a bit of a mess in the picture. Real people are my favorite kind : ). I LOVE your solution to the clutter during the photo shoot. And most of all, I love that you have a creative adult idea! You are so fun and creative. You are a constant inspiration! I am not even kidding you! I always LOVE seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for responding. I didn't get back to you. I had an emergency with one of my kids that I watch during the week. I am just getting home from the doctors. It's been a long day. I will try and research the pic tomorrow but I am so exhausted and just have no desire to do anything right now. It just wasn't a very good day for me.

This is OT, and has nothing to do with hats...but guess what hubby got me for Mother's Day - PSE 7.0!!! I've been using Picasa 3 for most of my edits, so I have a lot to learn. And, I searched I ♥ Faces tutorials and turns out you, my dear bloggy friend, may have a lot to teach me! LOL! Help! I'm just starting to play around with it...granted I've only had it on my computer for a few hours. One big thing I want to learn is to enhance/crispen/sharpen/brighten etc. the EYES! I figured out how to "lasso" or whatever (woo hoo) but now I don't know what to do! :-)

My hubby had bought me corel a couple of Christmas' ago, but I never really learned how to use it and then it didn't work on my new computer with vista. So, I'm determined to learn now!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

About Me

My Photo
Drew
I'm a Christian, wife, mom, teacher and computer addict. I started my family blog years ago in an attempt to document daily happenings. (I knew I'd forget everything before I ever had a chance to scrapbook so I'd better write it down!) After seeing the incredible improvement in photography my sister made after having a "Year in Photos" site, I was inspired to start my own. So now I have my "gross stories from a typical day with my kids" blog and my daily photo blog. Hope you enjoy!
