I lucked out!

Nathan was coloring the other night with a black marker (non-washable). I didn't realize it, but he left it out with the cap off. Yesterday, I found Ben with it. Thinking I caught it in time, I went into the bathroom to throw the marker away. Ben followed me in and spit on the floor - a big puddle of black ink. Apparantly he sucked on the marker and had a mouthful of ink. Thankfully, he spit it out on the tile, or our carpet would have been ruined.
